Adventures Beyond Wonderland is a live casino game show from Playtech. It is built around a host-spun money wheel with 54 segments. Players bet on four numbers (1, 2, 5, and 10) or on bonus segments that open the Wonderspins, Walterspins, and Magic Dice rounds. Two further Mystery segments cannot be bet on, but they apply multipliers to everyone in the round when they land. Hosts in Alice and Mad Hatter roles run the game from a revolving physical studio, with animated Wonderland characters added through augmented reality. Wins are capped at €500,000 per round.

⚠️ Playtech has revised the game’s math more than once since launch, including adding the Eat Me and Drink Me logic (bonus-wheel features that increase or decrease character multipliers by 1x before a respin — a reference to Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, where eating and drinking magical substances cause Alice to change size) and the main-wheel boosts. RTP by bet spot, bet limits, and the feature set should therefore be confirmed against the help file of the build deployed to your brand.
The Adventures Beyond Wonderland live game is adapted from Playtech’s eponymous video slot, bringing its characters and visual identity into a studio format.

The original Adventures Beyond Wonderland slot brings Lewis Carroll’s fantasy world to a 243-ways reel game, complete with familiar characters, Free Games, and colorful Wonderland scenery. Playtech later adapted the theme into a live casino game show.
Following the success of the OG title, the live game show launched in November 2020 as an exclusive on GVC Holdings brands (now Entain) in Great Britain and .com markets, and went on general release the following month. In December 2022, Playtech added the Walterspins bonus round, which replaced one of the “1” segments on the main wheel.
In July 2023, the game reached the United States through a dedicated physical studio in New Jersey that streams around the clock. A few months later, it was named Gaming Product of the Year at the 2023 American Gambling Awards.
The main wheel is weighted toward low values. In the reference configuration, 21 segments pay 1:1, 15 pay 2:1, five pay 5:1 and four pay 10:1. The remaining nine segments lead to bonus play:
Number results settle almost immediately, so the game keeps a quick rhythm between the longer bonus sequences. After betting closes, Walter the Caterpillar can blow a bubble that places a random boost multiplier on one number. This boost applies to number segments only.
Wonderspins is the title’s signature round. The main wheel turns on its axis to reveal a bonus wheel of 54 character segments, each carrying a base multiplier:
Eat Me segments add one to every character’s multiplier before a respin. Drink Me segments take one away, and a few segments pay nothing. An inner wheel awards extra spins or an extra multiplier on a single character. Results build in a multiplier bank over two or five spins, and the total is paid against the bonus bet.
Walterspins uses the same bonus wheel for two spins, with one difference. Before the spins, each player picks one of Walter’s four bubbles to reveal a multiplier between 1x and 10x, which applies to every character on the wheel.
Magic Dice moves the action to a six-column, four-row grid. Each player chooses a red or white die, and physical dice roll in the automated shaker. A player whose square holds a multiplier collects it. A green arrow moves the player up a row, and a purple 2x doubles the multipliers visible on the grid. The top row carries a 100x prize before any doubling.
The Mystery segments give the game its communal character. When the wheel stops on one, every player with a valid bet receives one of two outcomes. In the Card Soldiers outcome, the player picks a suit to reveal a multiplier between 2x and 10x on their total stake for the round. In the Caterpillar outcome, multipliers are spread across the number segments before a free respin.
⚠️ The largest results in Adventures Beyond Wonderland come from Mystery outcomes stacking multipliers before a bonus round lands. These sequences are rare, but they are the moments the game is remembered and talked about for.

Two game shows, two approaches to the 54-segment money wheel. Playtech’s Adventures Beyond Wonderland brings Alice-inspired characters, Wonderspins, and communal Mystery multipliers, while Evolution’s Crazy Time builds its spectacle around four distinct bonus games and the Top Slot multiplier system.
Playtech has no direct sibling to this title. Its Spin A Win wheel shares the money-wheel base but lacks the bonus structure. The meaningful comparison is Evolution’s Crazy Time, which launched the same year on a wheel of the same size.

The two games share a skeleton, but the boost logic differs. Crazy Time’s Top Slot runs every round and can attach a multiplier to a number or a bonus spot.
⚠️ Adventures Beyond Wonderland boosts numbers only through its random bubble, leaving its larger multiplier events to the Mystery segments. Because no one can bet on those segments, every seated player shares them.
The bonus families also differ. Two of the Wonderland rounds run on the same physical bonus wheel, which makes the set more coherent but less varied than Crazy Time’s four separate games.
Adventures Beyond Wonderland belongs in the game-show category. In a lobby with strong Playtech live coverage, it is the obvious lead title for that category, with Spin A Win as the simpler wheel beside it.
The pairing gives players a clear choice between a plain money wheel and a bonus-led show built on the same base. The Lewis Carroll story is recognized across markets without explanation, and the merchandising material is in the game itself:
The GR8_TECH Bonus Engine keeps separate balances for live casino bonuses. It also supports product-level wagering, so a campaign can target live casino without applying blanket terms across the whole site.
Our casino lobby customization tools let you build a dedicated game-show collection. In that collection, Adventures Beyond Wonderland can sit next to the other wheel titles you carry.
The Tournament Engine’s Total Bet mechanic awards points based on the amount wagered, which suits a game where stakes are spread across several spots. However, whether this title can be included in a tournament in your configuration should be confirmed with the GR8_TECH team.
The game is a studio product. Playtech produces every build in its own studios and certifies each version for the markets that the stream receives.
⚠️ The version your players see depends on the market it is certified for: Playtech holds the licenses to produce and supply its live content. It decides which markets receive the stream and sets the RTP, limits, and features of each build.
GR8_TECH is the B2B provider. We handle the B2B licensing required to supply content in the geographies we serve.
You, as the operator, hold the license to offer the game to players wherever your market requires one. You answer to your regulator for the player-facing side: game information, responsible gambling, bonus terms, advertising, and KYC and AML.
Adventures Beyond Wonderland gives a Playtech-led live lobby a game show with a recognizable theme and familiar betting, plus the Mystery segments, which have no direct equivalent in its closest competitor. Through GREAT_CASINO AGGREGATION, it runs alongside the wider Playtech portfolio through the same integration.
From there, we can help you set up a game-show collection around it and configure live-casino campaigns in the Bonus Engine. We can also confirm the build and market coverage for each of your brands before launch.
