The 2026 FIFA World Cup is in full swing, but real iGaming champions always think ahead. At GR8_TECH, we continue to expand the tournament toolkit while already preparing for what comes next.
Explore updates across KYC, risk automation, gamification, promo code management, casino rewards, payments, and betslip logic—all available to operators and their teams.
👥 Player Account Management (PAM)
Player verification is no longer a single rigid checkpoint. We’ve expanded KYC restrictions and security tools to give operators more control over risk.
Improvements Across KYC Restrictions
Manage KYC Restrictions with fewer manual actions and more precision thanks to Segmentation, Limits & Tiers, and automated triggers from other services.
Value for operators:
- Flexible Restriction Logic: Balance compliance, fraud prevention, and player experience with targeted rules instead of one-size-fits-all verification;
- Lower KYC Workload: Let automated triggers apply, update, or remove restrictions without constant manual intervention from the KYC team;
- Higher Conversions: Reduce early drop-off by delaying heavier checks until they are actually needed;
- Real-Time Risk Response: React faster to fraud signals, behavioral risk scores, and product-side events across the platform.
KYC Restrictions Segmentation
Different players require different levels of control. With KYC Segmentation, operators can assign specific restriction rules and limits to different player cohorts within the same brand.
How it works:
Each cohort is defined as a Segment, which determines who the rules apply to and which restrictions are enforced.
Key capabilities:
- Segment-Based Configuration: Request Segments based on player attributes such as currency, country, age, gender, verification status, marketing attribute / Affiliate ID, risk level, and RAF Business Segment;
- Different Rules Within One Brand: Apply separate restriction rules and limits to different player groups;
- Segment Priority: Override default brand-level restrictions for selected cohorts when more specific logic is required;
- Granular Limitations: Reduce friction for trusted players (e.g., VIPs), while tightening controls for higher-risk ones.
KYC Limits & Tiers
It’s now possible to split deposit and withdrawal limits into amount-based tiers. With this upgrade, players can unlock the next tier only after confirming their email, verifying their phone, or completing the other KYC step. This gives operators a smoother way to collect player data as transaction amounts grow, without forcing strict verification too early in the journey.
What’s new:
- Tiered Deposit and Withdrawal Limits: Configure multiple limit levels per brand currency;
- Progressive Conditions: Define what players must complete to move from one tier to the next, such as confirming email, confirming phone, completing verification, or passing liveness checks;
- Segment-Level Application: Apply tiered limits within specific Segments to combine cohort-based logic with progressive data collection;
- Lower Registration Friction: Defer advanced checks until the player reaches higher transaction thresholds to protect conversion from sign-up to first deposit.
KYC Restrictions Triggered by Other Services
Risk signals shouldn’t wait for manual processing. That’s why we’ve enabled different GR8_TECH services to trigger, update, or remove KYC restrictions for a specific player automatically, based on events happening on their side.
In practice, this means restrictions can be triggered by fraud signals, behavioral risk scores, or other service-defined conditions without waiting for the KYC team to step in.
Key functionality:
- Automated Restriction Actions: Apply KYC Restrictions based on signals from internal services;
- Action-Level Control: Restrict Withdrawals, Deposits, Casino bets, or Sport bets depending on the triggered scenario;
- Reason Display: Show the restriction reason directly to the player in the relevant action to reduce confusion and support contacts;
- Full Audit Trail: Log all restriction actions with timestamps for better operational visibility.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Trusted Device
We’ve added new account protection tools that help operators strengthen login security. Two-Factor Authentication and Trusted Device are configurable per brand and available on Web, iOS, and Android.
Why this matters:
- Stronger Account Protection: Reduce unauthorized access and fraud exposure;
- Compliance Support: Add a security layer that helps meet regulatory expectations;
- Frictionless Returns: Keep trusted-device logins fast without weakening account security.
How it works:
With 2FA, players can add an extra verification step to account login using one of the supported methods. Once a player successfully completes 2FA, they can mark the device as trusted. In future sessions, the player can log in faster without having to repeat the full 2FA flow on the same device.
Available 2FA methods:
- Authenticator App (TOTP): Google Authenticator support;
- SMS Verification Code: Additional login confirmation via mobile message;
- Email Verification Code: Account access confirmation through email.
⚽ Sportsbook
We've introduced Quick Bet—a new betslip mode built for speed. It lets logged-in players set their stake once and place bets instantly by tapping any outcome. No confirmations, no extra steps.
The mode is especially relevant for live betting, where every second affects prices and player intent.
Value for operators:
- Higher Betting Frequency: Reduce friction in high-intent betting moments;
- Better Live Betting UX: Support fast wagering behavior during rapidly changing events;
- Cleaner Mobile-First Flow: Give players a faster route from selection to stake placement, especially in time-sensitive markets.
QuickBet Mode in Sportsbook
What’s included:
- One-Tap Bet Placement: Players define the stake once and place bets by tapping any outcome;
- Stake Presets & Custom Input: Users can choose predefined stakes or enter a custom amount, with auto-save for future use;
- Bet Queue: Rapid successive clicks are processed in sequence for faster betting sessions;
- Visual Feedback: Processing spinner, success confirmation, and error alerts keep the user informed;
- Seamless Mode Switching: Players can move between Quick Bet and Full Betslip while keeping their selections preserved;
- Odds & Market Changes: Quick Bet automatically accepts odds and market changes regardless of the settings configured in the user account.

Key Guest User settings:
- Show Authorization Modal: Toggle that enables the timed demo intervention;
- Trigger Delay: Time threshold that defines when the demo prompt appears;
- Redirect Action: Mandatory dropdown that sets where a guest is sent after clicking a game tile;
- Pre-selected Bonus URL/ID: Conditional field that assigns a bonus to the registration flow.
📊 Unified Back Office (UBO)
These UBO updates will be especially useful for brands seeking a unified player view, clearer campaign mechanics, and more accurate reward calculations across product flows.
Cross-Product Auto-Segmentation
Automatically assign and update player segments based on combined activity across all Sportbook and Casino products. Instead of managing the Sport and the Casino segments separately, let the system calculate a single cross-product score using configurable multipliers and apply the resulting segment in both verticals simultaneously.
ℹ️ Cross-Product Auto-Segmentation is an automated RAF mechanic that evaluates player activity across products and updates the player’s segment based on combined performance.
Value for operators:
- Sharper Segmentation: Score players based on total product activity, not isolated vertical behavior;
- Less Manual Maintenance: Automatically align the Sport and the Casino segment logic;
- CRM Level Program Alignment: Automatically sync RAF segments with level milestones.
Key Functionality:
- Cross-Product Score Calculation: Combine turnover, deposit amount, margin, or profit from different product types;
- Turnover Multipliers: Configure product-specific multipliers, such as Sport ×3, Slots ×2, and Live ×1;
- Simultaneous Segment Assignment: Apply the resulting segment in both Sport and Casino when a player reaches a predefined threshold;
- Multiple Triggers per Level: Build level logic that requires the alignment with one, several, or all metrics;
- Upgrade & Downgrade Control: Limit how many levels a player can jump in a single run (maximum 1 level up per day), or allow unlimited jumps
- Separate Upgrade & Downgrade Setup: Configure them independently, with the possibility to enable upgrades only, downgrades only, or both;
- Flexible Metric Periods: Calculate metrics for the player’s full lifetime or a specific rolling period (e.g., last 30 days);
- Inclusive Setup Logic: Define which segments participate in auto-segmentation instead of listing the segments that need to be excluded.
⚡ The World Cup put serious pressure on operator margins. Check here where the biggest risks usually appear and how segmentation and other RAF strategies help operators mitigate them.
UBO Spanish Localization
Spanish localization is now available for static data in UBO. For teams operating in Spanish-speaking markets like Argentina, this improves back-office accessibility and streamlines day-to-day work for local operations, support, and product teams.
Instant Cashback Logic Update
We’ve updated Instant Cashback behavior to make cashback calculation more flexible and accurate. Operators can now evaluate player activity within pre-set time windows that define the Net Spend calculation scope.
Why this matters:
- More Accurate Reward Logic: Calculate cashback based on the specific player activity window;
- Better Bonus Cost Control: Deduct pending bets and withdrawals from Net Spend when cashback is not blocked;
- Clearer Configuration: Choose whether to block cashback while pending activity exists or include pending amounts in the calculation.
Instant Cashback Settings
Updated Net Spend formula:
Net Spend = Deposits − (Withdrawals + Total Balance + Pending Bets + Pending Withdrawals)
Available Net Spend calculation periods:
- 1h; 3h; 6h; 8h; 12h; 24h; 48h; 72h.
New Pending Bets toggle logic:
- Enabled: Cashback is blocked while the player has active bets;
- Disabled: Pending bet amounts are deducted from the Net Spend calculation.
New Pending Withdrawals toggle logic:
- Enabled: Cashback is blocked while the player has pending withdrawals;
- Disabled: Pending withdrawal amounts are deducted from the Net Spend calculation.
⭐ Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
In June, we pulled the efforts around gamification and our advanced VIP Level Builder. Besides, our team packed the CRM module with the tools that protect bonus budgets, improve visibility into player engagement, reduce manual work, and make promotional mechanics easier to manage at scale.
Cashback Expiration in the Level Program
Gain control over potential cashback withdrawal amounts and encourage players to return to the product more frequently by setting limits on the claiming period. We made these Cashback Expiration Periods settings optional, letting brands decide whether to enable them or continue using the Level Program without changes.
Value for operators:
- Bonus Control: Limit the growth of unclaimed cashback balances;
- Retention Boost: Give players a reason to return and claim rewards within a set period;
- Player Trust: Display deduction information in the player's activity log for transparency.
Cashback Expiration Period Settings for VIP Level Program
Periods Available for Cashback Configuration:
How it works for players:
- Expired Cashback Deduction: If a player does not claim cashback by the end of the expiration period, the amount is deducted from their available cashback balance;
- Activity Log Transparency: Information related to cashback deduction is recorded in the player’s activity log.
Instant FreeSpins for Pragmatic Play
Reward players in the moment of play with Instant FreeSpin bonus rounds. The feature is now available directly inside a player’s active game session through CRM journeys, together with regular/classic freespins.
ℹ️ Instant FreeSpin is a high-value mechanic delivered as a single entry ticket that unlocks a bonus feature round inside the player’s current game session. Total winnings from the feature round are processed as one transaction to the player’s wallet after completion. It is used as a standalone reward type and cannot be combined with other promotional conditions.
✅ The update applies to casino games by Pragmatic Play.
Value for operators:
- Faster Conversions: Deliver the bonus at the moment when the player is already engaged;
- Extra Engagement: Create a more thrilling gaming experience through immediate rewards;
- CRM Flexibility: Add a new casino reward option directly into existing journey logic.
📍 Find it in: CRM Journey Builder → Promotion activity → Casino FreeSpin → Instant FreeSpin.
New Source for Casino Gamification
You asked for deeper protection against refund-related abuse in the casino, and we delivered that. Test Casino Rounds—a new source in the gamification conditions. Unlike the general Casino source, it excludes refunds from calculations and counts players' progress through quests, tournaments, and other mechanics only on valid casino rounds.
New Source in Gamification Conditions: Casino Rounds
Fixed Leaderboard Widget for Tournaments
Now players can see themselves in the upper positions in the leaderboard, even when they are far from the top. For operators, this results in increased betting motivation and engagement.
Why this matters:
- Higher Motivation: Players can always see their progress and position in tournaments;
- Less Search Friction: No need to scroll through long leaderboards.
Key changes:
Previously, users with a low leaderboard position had difficulty finding themselves on the frontend. Now, if the player is not in the TOP 3, their position is fixed below the top users and remains visible in the leaderboard.
Different Currencies for Quest Progress Display
Multi-currency brands can now offer a better Quest progress experience, eliminating inconsistencies for players and maintaining their gamification activity.
What’s new:
Previously, multi-currency users could see Quest progress only in a single currency, making it hard to understand their actual progress. Now, operators can display user progress across all Gamification Quest currencies and choose how to present it.
Display options:
- Highlight the Highest Progress: Show the currency where the user has advanced the most;
- Show Active Currency Progress: Display progress based on the player’s currently active currency.
Prize Changes in Active Randomizer
From now on, operators can change prizes in an active Randomizer. This gives teams more flexibility to tune live campaigns without stopping the mechanics or rebuilding the setup from scratch.
This is especially useful when campaign performance, prize availability, or promotional priorities change after launch.
Casino Game Tags
Enhance player engagement and gain greater marketing opportunities with the Game Visual Tags Management. This tool allows operators to display such tags as Hot, New, or Featured directly on casino game icons across both the casino frontend and specified promotional widgets.
Feature value:
The tool gives marketing and content teams a simple way to guide players toward priority games, new releases, or campaign-relevant titles.
Game Visual Tags Management in Casino
How it works:
- UBO Configuration: Manage and configure tags through UBO;
- Player UI Display: Highlight tags directly on casino game icons and promotional widgets.
Cashier Data Storage for All Trust Levels
We’ve improved player data storage across the brand to keep the cashier experience smooth regardless of changes in player trust levels.
Why this matters:
- Seamless Cashier Flow: Reduce manual actions for returning players;
- Lower Friction for VIPs: Improve the experience of high-value players by letting them skip repetitive cashier steps.
New changes:
Previously, a player could make a deposit, save their card, or use an alternative payment method and enter their first and last name. These details were pre-filled after a successful deposit. However, if the player’s trust level was upgraded, e.g., from untrusted to trusted, or from trusted to VIP, the player had to re-enter the same cashier data.
Now, players can see the data they entered and saved at the cashier, regardless of changes in trust level.
Application scope:
Promo Codes via CSV in the Reference Code Activity
CRM managers can now add promo codes at scale using CSV upload in the Reference code input source activity. The update brings efficiency to large-scale promo campaigns where volume, validation, and launch confidence matter equally. Manual mode remains available, so managers can choose it depending on the campaign size.
Value for operators:
- Faster Setup: Upload large code lists without manual entry;
- Cleaner Validation: Spot invalid codes before launch;
- Lower Risk: Prevent outdated or invalid codes from being used in published journeys.
Core updates:
- CSV File Upload: Add promo codes through a CSV file instead of entering them manually;
- Mutual Exclusion: Manual entry and file upload cannot be used together within one activity;
- Inline Validation Feedback: View Total, Valid, and Invalid counters directly in the settings panel after upload;
- Downloadable Error Report: Download a system-generated report when invalid codes are detected, with problematic codes listed at the top;
- Automatic Revalidation: Let the system revalidate uploaded codes when journey-level settings (start, stop, brand, currency) or activity-level settings change.
Brand-Default Language Support for On-Site Messaging Templates
From now on, our clients can align on-site messaging templates with the configured brand-default language and spot localization gaps easily in the Back Office.
Why this matters:
- Better Localization: Help teams identify missing content before messages go live;
- Fewer Configuration Inconsistencies: Align templates with the brand’s language setup;
- Improved Content Quality: Give CRM and content teams clearer visibility into multilingual flows.
What’s new:
- Brand-Default Language: On-site messaging templates automatically use the brand-default language;
- Visual Signals: Missing content for the brand-default language is highlighted in red in the Languages column;
- Default Language Marker: The default template language is marked with an asterisk (*) in the Languages column;
- Improved Fallback Behavior: English content fallback works more consistently in multilingual template configurations.
💳 Payments Hub
Check out the enhancements across the payment wallet and cashier.
New Pre-Withdrawal Pop-up Design in the Player Wallet
We’ve redesigned the Pre-Withdrawal Pop-up as a clean, modular framework of Info Blocks with improved step logic. The new structure helps players understand what affects withdrawal availability.
Why this matters:
- Clearer Withdrawal Flow: Show players what affects withdrawal eligibility;
- Lower Support Pressure: Reduce confusion around wagering, locked funds, and bonus cancellation;
- Modular Setup: Control which information blocks are active based on brand needs.
Redesigned Pre-Withdrawal Pop-up in Player Wallet
Supported Info Blocks:
- Deposit Wager Info: Displays unwagered deposit information and related fees (available by default);
- Bonus & Locked Funds Info: Highlights classic restricted bonus balances (available via a Configuration Team ticket);
- Auto-Cancel Info for New Casino Bonuses: Automatically cancels active casino bonuses under the new Casino wagering mechanism before the player can withdraw. (available via a Configuration Team ticket).
Personalized Payment Experience
Repeat deposits are getting even faster thanks to a more flexible pre-selection of payment methods.
Value for operators:
- More Repeat Deposits: Reduce cashier steps and friction for returning players;
- More Operational Autonomy: Enable the setting directly in the Merchant Dashboard.
Personalization Through Pre-Selected Payment Method
How it works for operators:
Previously, Payment Hub could preselect a player’s last successful deposit method only for card payments. For other methods, this worked only via IPPS: if the Platform sent a preselection instruction, Payment Hub applied it across all method types.
Now, operators can manage this directly in the Merchant Dashboard. They can open payment group settings and enable the Pre-selected method toggle for specific payment groups.
Once enabled, Payment Hub remembers the method used for a successful deposit and preselects it the next time the player opens the cashier. The IPPS flow remains unchanged, but operators now have greater flexibility over method preselection.
How it works for players:
If a player uses a specific payment method once and the deposit succeeds, Payment Hub will automatically show that method as selected the next time the player opens the cashier. This helps returning players repeat the deposit more quickly, without having to search for the same method again.
How to enable it:
Open payment group settings → Enable the “Pre-selected method” toggle.
Availability: Currently available only for deposits.
🔄 Mirror Management System (MMS)
Keep the product more resilient in regions affected by network restrictions with upgraded Mirror Switching. It improves recovery logic and user messaging across all platforms when access conditions change. For operators, this ushers in product stability, clearer handling of regional access restrictions, and fewer support cases caused by network issues.
Key enhancements:
- More Reliable Mirror Switching: Faster switching and recovery logic across supported platforms;
- Relevant Messaging: Users see a dedicated “Access denied” screen when a brand is unavailable in their region;
- Fewer Broken States: Reduced risk of missing functionality and generic “Something went wrong” errors;
- Automatic Application: Improvements are applied automatically across Web, iOS, and Android without any client action.
Don’t postpone improvements that protect margins and reduce friction. Activate security upgrades, new widgets, cross-product risk segmentation, and other features through the Knowledge Hub or by contacting the GR8_TECH Support Team.
