Shining Crown

Shining Crown is a five-reel, ten-line classic fruit slot from Amusnet, the Sofia-based studio formerly known as EGT Interactive. Released in 2014, it keeps the cherries, plums, bells, and sevens of a traditional fruit machine. It adds three elements that give it more shape than most games in the category: a crown wild that expands to fill its reel, two scatter symbols that pay from any position, and Jackpot Cards, Amusnet's four-level mystery progressive.

The Shining Crown Slot Provider — Amusnet

Amusnet grew out of EGT Interactive, the online gaming business built around the casino heritage of Sofia-based Euro Games Technology.

Amusnet 10 Years logo surrounded by classic slot symbols, fruit, coins, and a jeweled crown.

Amusnet marks a decade of casino content, from classic fruit slots such as Shining Crown to a broader portfolio of online games, jackpots, and promotional tools.

The company developed its early online catalog by bringing the familiar math, symbols and pacing of land-based EGT slots to desktop and mobile.

Shining Crown, released on July 23, 2014, belongs to that early generation: a compact fruit slot built around ten fixed paylines, an expanding crown wild and Jackpot Cards. EGT Interactive became Amusnet Interactive in 2022, with the classic portfolio retained as the foundation for a broader casino offering.

How Shining Crown Plays

Amusnet built its online catalog on the look and math of land-based fruit machines, and Shining Crown follows that tradition closely.

The grid is five reels by three rows with ten fixed paylines, and wins pay from left to right starting at the first reel. The symbol set is small: eight fruit and number symbols, the crown wild, and two scatters. Red sevens are the top-paying regular symbol, and a full screen of sevens is what sets the 5,000x maximum.

⚠️ There is no free-spins round, no pick bonus, and no multiplier trail.

Almost everything in Shining Crown happens on the main reels during ordinary spins. The exception is Jackpot Cards, which opens on its own screen. After a win, players can also enter a red-or-black Gamble round, where a correct guess doubles the amount, and a wrong guess loses it.

Expanding Crown, Two Scatters and Jackpot Cards

The crown is the only wild symbol, and it lands only on reels 2, 3 and 4. It substitutes for every regular symbol. When it completes a win, it expands to cover all three positions on its reel. On a ten-line layout, a full wild reel in the middle of the grid touches every payline at once, so a single crown can turn an ordinary spin into several line wins.

💡 Two or three crowns expanding together produce the largest base-game results, including the full screen of sevens behind the maximum win. Players recognize the game by this moment, and it needs no feature trigger or build-up.

The two scatters pay instant prizes and do not trigger a bonus. The dollar scatter can land on any reel and pays 5x, 20x or 100x the total bet for three, four or five symbols anywhere on the screen. The star scatter appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5 and pays 20x the total bet when all three land. Neither leads to free spins, so together they add small- and mid-sized payouts to the base game, between line wins and expanding wild hits.

Jackpot Cards is an Amusnet-level jackpot system that runs across a large part of the studio’s catalog, including recent slots and crash titles. It is not a mechanic unique to Shining Crown. It triggers at random after a spin, and any stake can qualify. The player sees 12 face-down cards and keeps picking until three cards of the same suit appear. That suit decides which of the four progressive levels is won. The current value of all four levels sits above the reels throughout play, so the jackpot stays visible in every session, not only when it triggers.

Shining Crown vs Shining Crown Buy Bonus

Shining Crown vs Shining Crown Buy Bonus

Shining Crown keeps its expanding crown wild chance-based, while the 2025 Buy Bonus edition lets players pay to bring one, two, or three expanding wilds into play.

Guaranteed Wins No Optional; at least one winning line per spin while active
Jackpot Cards and Gamble Yes Yes

The 2025 version keeps the original grid, symbols, scatters, jackpot and Gamble round. It adds two optional modes that players switch on and leave on until they turn them off. The real difference is how the expanding wild arrives. In the original, the crown appears by chance, and that unpredictability defines the game. In Buy Bonus, the same moment becomes a priced option, and Guaranteed Wins trades the occasional blank spin for a higher cost per round.

Where Shining Crown Fits

Shining Crown makes most sense on the classic shelf, as a dependable regular rather than a headline release. Its low-to-medium volatility and small symbol set give a fruit-slot audience a steady, familiar option. The expanding crown and the jackpot meters give it more visible potential than a plain three-reel classic.

💡 If your lobby already carries a deep Amusnet classic range, with titles such as Burning Hot or Extra Crown, Shining Crown will look familiar next to them.

What sets it apart is mechanical: expanding wilds on the middle reels of a ten-line grid, plus two pay-anywhere scatters. In the lobby, it can act naturally alongside other classic fruit slots or crown-themed titles, while Jackpot Cards also gives it a place in a broader jackpot collection.

⚠️ However, players looking for free-spins rounds, cascades, or large multiplier ceilings will find the game plain. Its 5,000x maximum is modest next to current high-volatility releases, and nothing in the game builds over a session. That simplicity makes Shining Crown a good fit for a classics audience and a poor match for players chasing feature-heavy content.

Running Promotions In Shining Crown

The game itself gives you three hooks to work with: the expanding crown, the four jackpot meters, and a fixed ten-line format that makes free-round values easy to explain.

Free-spin campaigns built through the GR8_TECH Bonus Engine are simple to communicate on Shining Crown. A player receives a set number of spins on a ten-line game, with no feature rules explained in the terms. That makes it a natural named game for welcome or reactivation offers aimed at casual slot players.

Our Tournament engine adds a second option. With Total Bet scoring, every $1 wagered earns one point, which suits a low-stake volume race on a steady classic. With Win/Bet Ratio scoring, points are awarded for each round’s win relative to its stake. Here the expanding crown matters most, because a full wild reel completing several lines at once is the kind of spin that lifts a ratio whatever the stake. Several tournaments can run on the same games in parallel, so a Shining Crown race can run alongside a wider Amusnet or classics tournament.

The jackpot meters give lobby tiles and banners a live number to show. At the provider level, Amusnet also offers Cash Bomb, a configurable promotional layer on Jackpot Cards with shared rewards and growing prize pots.

💡 Before launching any campaign, confirm with GR8_TECH these settings for the deployed build: the RTP variant, stake limits, the Gamble cap, and whether Jackpot Cards stays active during free-round play.

Integrating Shining Crown via GR8_TECH

Shining Crown is available through GREAT_CASINO AGGREGATION alongside the wider Amusnet catalog. One API connects operators to more than 250 content providers and 20,000+ games, while we handle provider communication, licensing coordination, and technical integration.

⚠️ Aggregation does not replace the operator’s own casino license: the appropriate authorization still needs to be in place for each target market. What it removes is the need to build and maintain a separate technical connection with Amusnet.

From there, Shining Crown can sit alongside your classic slots and jackpot content, with Shining Crown Buy Bonus added where the title is available for your market. GR8_TECH’s Bonus and Tournament engines also give you a common promotional layer for eligible casino content, including Free Spins and tournament mechanics such as Turnover and Win/Bet Ratio scoring.
