Finally, it's Spring, and new features unfold like buds on a tree. Okay, sorry for that. Let's get back to business.

🏏  Sportsbook

Since March, our betting solutions have been equipped with a new pitch animation widget, updates on sports bonuses, and a fancy mode.

New Pitch Animation Widget

We added the new pitch animation widget for cricket powered by Quantum. This widget makes pitch visualizations and statistics more dynamic, making in-game and prematch more engaging for bettors.

Key highlights:

  • The Quantum pitch animation widget is now available for all clients.
  • The Quantum widget offers better coverage and more detailed stats, which is simply better than the previous version.
  • The widget includes a comprehensive timeline, breaking down the match over by over and inning by inning, offering bettors a deeper view of the game’s progression. Actually, the stats shown in the widget are almost identical to those found on ESPNcricinfo.
  • The Quantum widget will now be prioritized for display, ensuring you receive the most accurate and up-to-date information available.

Bonus As % of Variable Value

The sports bonus as a percentage of a variable is available for all clients, including iFrame operators. It enables issuing sports bonuses based on deposit data received via:

  • Webhook (especially relevant for iFrame clients)
  • CSV file.

The option is available only if variables exist in the input source. It cannot be used simultaneously with a bonus as a percentage of a previous activity. If any “Conditions” activity precedes the Sport Bonus, the “% from variable” option is disabled.

When using “Bonus as % from a variable,” the following fields must be set:

  • Max bonus amount a player can receive
  • Max % of received bonus amount after wagering

The currency for the deposit amount must be specified in the webhook; otherwise, the bonus will not be issued.

If iFrame clients use a webhook, the issue type “Accepted” option must be selected in the promotion.

Operators can now configure whether to block funds on a sport-locked balance when issuing a bonus. The bonus rate remains unchanged: Bonus Rate = bonus / (deposit + bonus).

📌 Note for iFrame clients:

  1. The operator configures a bonus promotion on their platform and sets up a Journey Builder promotion in REA to process the bonus issuance.
  2. The operator sends deposit details via webhook: the user ID (Unique player identifier), deposit amount, and currency.
  3. The received data via webhook triggers the following processes: The player is added to the Journey Builder/A sports bonus is issued based on promotion settings and received data.
  4. The player sees the promotion in the iFrame promo lobby in the “Wagering” state.

Future improvements for iFrame clients

Players will have the option to cancel promotions from the operator’s promo lobby. The current wagering status will also be displayed in the promo lobby, although it will not include a progress bar. Implementing these changes will require further integration on the operator’s side.

Fancy Mode

Meet Fancy Mode, a feature designed to bring a betting exchange audience to your Sportsbook.

Fancy Mode is a visual interface that transforms the Sportsbook into an exchange-like betting platform. Tailored for players familiar with Back/Lay betting, it simplifies their transition to our Sportsbook without altering the underlying bet calculation mechanics or the operator’s risk model.

How Fancy Mode benefits operators:

  • Attracts new players from exchange platforms.
  • A UI toggle that does not change the risk model—simply an additional layer on top of your Sportsbook.
  • A unique SEO and content marketing hook—promote it as “Exchange-like betting within a Sportsbook.”

Feature highlights:

Fancy Mode adapts the Sportsbook for exchange-style betting with these visual updates:

  • Switch between “Fixed” and “Fancy” formats, with a customizable default setting for new players. Player preferences are saved locally for future visits.
  • Unique Market & Odds Display: Each odd shows its opposite (Back vs. Lay, No vs. Yes)/Odds auto-convert to Fancy format (Back—European format like 1.9, Lay—always empty, No—Fancy format like 111, Yes—Fancy format like 90)
  • Updated layouts for Cricket event overviews and specific event pages
  • Adjusted Cash Out, Bet Slip, and Bet History for Fancy Mode bets.

FAQ:

How do I enable it?

Yes, operators can set Fancy Mode as the default for new users.

What bets are supported?

Cricket only, single bets only.

Can Fixed and Fancy odds mix in the Bet Slip?

No, they remain separate.

Does it change Bet Slip or Bet History?

Yes, both are adapted to reflect Fancy Mode.

🎰 Casino

This month, the casino team updated the tournaments and turned off the demo for games.

Manual Prize Distribution for Tournaments

This update gives operators complete control over how tournament rewards are structured, allowing for custom prize allocation and more strategic engagement.

What’s new?

  • You can define the exact number of prize places and set custom amounts.
  • You can add, remove, or group prize positions for more tailored distribution.
  • You can create unique payout structures to drive competition and retention.

Use case example:

A high-stakes tournament with a $50,000 prize pool could be structured as follows:

  • 1st place → $10,000
  • 2nd–3rd place → $7,500 each
  • 4th–10th place → $3,000 each
  • 11th–50th place → $500 each

With Manual Prize Distribution, operators can now offer more diverse reward structures that maximize player participation.

Turned Off Demo Mode in Casino Games

Players can now jump straight into the Real game without the option for demo mode.

Why it is better for the business:

  • Instant Play – No interruptions, just straight to the action.
  • Better Experience – No extra steps are needed when playing with real money.
  • Complete Control – Operators can turn demo mode on or off across all services.

♻️ Unified Back-office (UBO)

UBO Segment Engine

The Segment Engine allows you to work precisely with different types of users and customize the product for them in real-time.

Main features compared to existing segmenters:

  • Real-time metrics and fast speed of players getting into the segment
  • Scalability, adding various data sources, including existing segmenters
  • The following sources are available at the launch: Metrics/CSV/Manual IDs
  • Flexibility to combine different data sources when creating a segment
  • Limited segment lifetime, saving resources by stopping unused segments in 1 year.

Display of deposit wagering conditions in UBO

The wagering conditions are now available in the UBO, allowing operators to easily track how much a player still needs to wager to meet the requirements.

This will help the manager quickly address any questions from players regarding the withdrawal of funds, improving overall support efficiency and transparency.

⚙️CRM

The CRM team was focused on Journey Builder improvements, a notification center, and improving chat tab navigation for support agents.

Notification Center Evolves into On-Site Messaging

The new name—On-Site Messaging—better reflects the feature’s essence, which includes Notifications and Pop-ups to facilitate real-time communication with players directly within the platform (on the web and in-app). This update makes it easier than ever for teams to configure and manage On-Site Messaging, Notifications, and Pop-ups.

What’s changing?

We’re updating terminology across key sections:

  • In Journey Builder: Notification Center activity → On-site messaging activity / Notification Center Engagement Split activity → Messaging engagement split activity
  • In Content Studio: NC Templates → On-site messaging templates / NC Sets → On-site sets

Additional enhancements include:

  • Separated flows are used to create notifications and pop-up templates of different types.
  • New types of notification templates include banner notifications and sports events.
  • Previously available notification type—Information—gets a more streamlined setup flow.
  • New types of pop-up templates: Light box pop-up—renamed alternative for ‘Catfish’ pop-up type, Push pop-up.

📌 Operators who started using this feature before March 2025 will see “Information (Deprecated)” for the Notification channel, “Catfish (Deprecated),” and “Push (deprecated)” for the Pop-up channel as additional template types. While these template types remain supported for sending in previously launched journeys, they can no longer be used to create new templates.

  • All templates are available for viewing and duplication, including previously created templates for the ‘Sports subscription trigger,’ ‘Payment trigger,’ and ‘General trigger.’
  • Renamed the following fields for a more transparent setup of On-site messaging templates (notifications and pop-ups) in Content Studio and On-site messaging activity in Journey Builder: Contract ID → Type / Type → Purpose (available options: Promotional, General trigger, Payment trigger, Sport subscription trigger, Test, Other)
  • Added helpful hints, character counters, and field placeholders
  • Transparent validation and counter mechanisms to highlight any issues upfront.
  • Sending a test message was improved to support sending for up to 10 Player ID’s at a time.

Journey Builder Updates

The no-deposit casino bonuses feature allows bonuses to be granted to players without requiring a deposit, expanding promotional flexibility and engagement strategies.

Key benefits:

  • Seamless Bonus Setup – Operators can configure and activate fixed-amount bonuses directly within Journey Builder.
  • No Deposit Required – Players receive the bonus instantly without needing to deposit.
  • Better Player Engagement – Perfect for retention campaigns, welcome offers, and special promotions.

How it works:

  1. Add the “Promotion” activity – this initiates the promotion offer.
  2. Add the “Casino Bonus” activity – with the selected “Fixed Amount.”
  3. Define the Bonus Amount – set the fixed value (e.g., $10, $20).
  4. Configure Wagering Requirements – Set the wagering amount if needed to meet your campaign goals.
  5. Activate the Journey – Players will receive the bonus offer!

📌 Currently, when manually adding a player to a No-Deposit Casino Bonus flow (by combining Promotion and Casino Bonus activities), the following fields are not available for configuration:

  • Corrected Locked Amount
  • Target Wagering Amount

Improved Chat Tab Navigation for Support Agents Working in Salesforce

We have updated the chat tab title on the chat page to improve navigation for agents who are managing multiple active conversations.

  • If an unauthorized player requests a chat, the tab will display the first name provided in the pre-chat form.
  • If an authorized player requests a chat and their first name is available in their Player Profile, the tab will show that name.
  • If an authorized player requests a chat but their first name is missing from their Player Profile, the tab will display the Chat Transcript Number (Auto Number) instead.
