The AI team is a part of Data Platform Stream. We are committed to the forefront of Machine Learning and Data Science advancements. The main areas of our work are Machine Learning, Recommender Systems, System Evaluation, Advanced Data Analysis, and other exciting AI topics.
Our team consists of dedicated ML and DS professionals. We champion a culture of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a supportive team environment.
We work closely with other Data Platform teams, Frond End, and Data Analyst teams, discuss business goals, cooperate, and share knowledge.
The ML Engineer will be principally tasked with the development of advanced models surrounding time series and tabular data, aligning with our core business needs.
About your key responsibilities and impact:
- Developing and refining ML models throughout their lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment;
- Collaborating effectively with various teams within the Data Platform, ensuring cohesive project execution;
- Engaging in research to uncover and implement cutting-edge techniques, particularly for time series data modeling;
- Participating in continuous learning and knowledge-sharing sessions, elevating the team’s collective expertise;
- Ensuring the production of high-quality code, optimised performance, and scalable solutions.
Essential professional experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field;
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in ML and DS, addressing real-world challenges;
- Profound expertise in SQL for effective data querying and manipulation;
- Comprehensive understanding of foundational ML concepts and frameworks;
- Demonstrated ability in Engineering, ensuring seamless model deployment and scalability;
- Proficiency in Python programming with an emphasis on producing efficient and high-quality code;
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies and platforms;
- Strong foundation in statistics and probability theory, essential for insightful data interpretation and analysis;
- Intermediate+ level of English.
