About your key responsibilities and impact:
Business development and revenue growth:
- Continues business development and growth;
- Looking for a new opportunity in the domain and beyond;
- Managing relationship with key partners / providers, focusing on improving commercials and building long term beneficial relationships;
- Developing and managing products that in BU responsibility zone including contribution into marketing and sales strategy;
- Developing the BU Module alighted with GR8 Tech strategy;
- Building a personal professional network;
- Research of competitors in the BU related area with a focus on target regions for the GR8 Tech;
- PnL management;
- Content development.
Organizational Leadership:
- Taking part in promoting organization business exposure on various conferences;
- Identifying roles required for our business unit growth;
- Working closely with HR department on internal grading and mentorship programs;
- Leading internal knowledge sharing programs to ensure engineers growth environment;
- Identifying key processes and improvements roadmap within BU;
- Effectively positioning and differentiating gambling B2B offering in a competitive B2B market;
- Driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability in the B2B segment with current clients and reaching new clients;
- Building and leading a high-performing technology and business development team;
- Navigating complex contract negotiations with key stakeholders;
- Keeping pace with industry trends and best practices to ensure our offering remains innovative and competitive.
Team Leadership:
- Leading and managing a team of engineers, product manager and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture;
- Setting clear performance expectations, providing feedback, and supporting career development for team members and department overall;
- Facilitating effective communication and coordination within the team and across other departments.
Technical Strategy and Roadmap:
- Taking part in developing and executing the business strategy and roadmap for teams under your management, aligning it with the company’s goals and objectives;
- Collaborating with engineering, product, design, business, marketing, and sales teams and introducing new products to the market;
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in products under your management;
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and evaluating their potential impact on products.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborating closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the platform development process;
- Fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects;
- Providing technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams during the integration of their systems with the platform.
Essential professional experience:
- 7+ years in the IT industry with at least 3 years in a leadership position, such as Head of Development, Head of Engineering, or Head of Product;
- 3+ years of hands-on experience within complex multi-stack ecosystems;
- 3+ years experience on open platform products(PaaS model);
- Track record of successful projects with indirect management;
- Experience in managing large complex projects;
- Strong conflict management skills;
- Good time management skills;
- Ability to pragmatically handle multiple initiatives, roles, and responsibilities going in parallel;
- Track record of transformational projects in organizations(50+);
- English level – Upper-intermediate/advanced (you will be involved in pre-sales activities and exhibitions).
Desirable skills and personal features:
- Understanding of different team topologies(their pros and cons for organization);
- Experience in designing and delivery of high load PaaS products executive positions experience.
